These days m getting lots of mails regarding viruses on mac o.s.
so m deciding to write an article on this..i hope this will help u to know about the viruses on mac or windows…
Generally many people ask me iz it possible that mac o.s. gets viruses ??????
so the answer to the question is Yes.
Apple Macintosh user getting a virus when compared to a Microsoft Windows user is very little to none. In fact, many of the Apple Macintosh users don’t even run any antivirus program.
Apple Macintosh computers do not have as many viruses as Microsoft Windows.
Newer Macintosh operating systems, such as the Mac OS X, is built on the Unix kernel, which is one of the oldest and most secure operating systems available.
The most important thing is that Microsoft Windows is used by a lot of more people than that of Apple Mac OS. Because more people use Microsoft Windows, it is a much better target and makes it easier for viruses to spread.
Most of the computer virus writers are more familiar with the IBM platform and Microsoft Windows, which means its easier for them to create a virus for that platform.
Also U will get many of the tools, scripts, and code used to create viruses or other malware are designed for Microsoft Windows.

Here i want to add one point that an Apple Macintosh can serve as a virus carrier, meaning that a virus could be stored on an Apple Computer but not infect it.

Finally,i want to suggest all of u that there is no such thing as a hundred percent safe computer, a Mac, Windows, and even Linux are all capable of being infected with a virus or other malware.
so the solution is that always keep safe..nd be aware when u are online..!!
